Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues his US visit and is working to shore up more support for Kyiv. One of his aims is to convince Western leaders that lifting restrictions on long-range weapons is crucial for Ukraine’s victory. Megumi Lim reports.

The BBC further reports that Zelensky’s visit to the US coincides with efforts from the White House to prepare a new $375m military aid package for Ukraine. Ukraine has been pleading for months for the United States, United Kingdom, and other Western allies to ease restrictions on the use of long-range missiles so it can strike targets in Russia which Kyiv says are used to launch attacks.
