WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA – FNB Namibia is proud to announce its contribution to the Katutura Magistrate Court with the donation of two television monitors and a speed-point device, aimed at enhancing the court’s service delivery and communication with the public.
At the handover ceremony, held at the Katutura Magistrate Court, FNB Namibia Relationship Manager for Public Sector Banking Balle Hans expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the role the Magistrate Court plays in Namibia’s judicial system.
“We are pleased to make a small but meaningful contribution to the important work carried out by the Katutura Magistrate Court,” said Hans. He emphasised the importance of effective communication in service delivery, adding, “By providing the Magistrate with these television monitors and a speed-point device, we hope to strengthen the court’s communication and service delivery and foster transparency and accessibility, which are key in empowering individuals and helping them better understand the legal system.”
The donation, valued at N$20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Namibian Dollars), is part of FNB Namibia’s commitment to enhancing service delivery within Namibian institutions. The Katutura Magistrate Court has, for years, been a cornerstone of our judicial system. Beyond its formal duties, it has been a vital resource for the surrounding communities. The bank believes that by improving the flow of information within the judicial system, it helps make legal processes more accessible and transparent for the communities they serve.
The Office of the Judiciary expressed appreciation for FNB Namibia’s gesture, noting that the donation would contribute significantly to improving the public’s access to important legal information as well as streamlining service delivery.
FNB Namibia remains a committed and socially responsible partner of the public sector through various initiatives, reinforcing its dedication to institutions that contribute to the betterment of Namibian communities.
