The US National Weather Service says dangerous conditions are expected in California next week, which could impede efforts to put out major fires there. A nine-day wind siege has finally ended in the area – offering relief to firefighters continuing to battle several blazes in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. The fires have killed at least 25 people so far, and many others are missing. Sally Patterson reports.
