World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland 2025

As world leaders and business entrepreneurs meet in Davos, Switzerland for the 2025 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum, global decision-makers are gathered under the theme “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age.” From 20-24 January 2025, the event will bring together nearly 3,000 participants from over 130 countries, including more than 1,600 business leaders, 900 top CEOs, and over 350 governmental leaders, including over 50 heads of state and government.

This year’s discussions will focus on five themes vital to addressing the challenges of the global economy: reimagining growth, industries in the intelligent age, investing in people, safeguarding the planet, and rebuilding trust. As the world’s top minds come together to find solutions, one of the most talked-about areas is the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on industries like e-commerce.

Fabricio Bloisi of Prosusgroup says, “We believe this is the year AI reaches e-commerce. Using data from 2 billion people, we aim to offer better service, cheaper products, and improved consumer delivery. That’s our biggest challenge today,” he said during a conversation with Bloomberg CMO Brenda Tsai.

The week-long event serves as a platform for leaders to collaborate and find innovative ways to tackle the pressing issues facing industries and economies worldwide.
