Government to Launch New Visa on Arrival System in April

Government will implement a new Visa on Arrival system for international travelers starting April 1, aiming to simplify travel logistics and enhance visitor experiences. The official launch of the e-visa platform is set for March 3, allowing travelers to apply in advance. The Namibia Tourism Board will introduce the system at ITB on March 3, sharing details with stakeholders. The Home Affairs ministry and other agencies emphasize that this move aligns with efforts to modernize Namibia’s travel and tourism infrastructure.
