Chinese Firm Supports Nujoma Memorial in Rundu

The China Civil Engineering and Construction Company has donated items worth N$20,000 to support the Rundu memorial service for Founding President Sam Nujoma. The company also provided workers and trucks to assist in preparing the Rundu Sports Stadium for the event. Kavango East Governor Bonifatius Wakudumo praised the contribution, saying it will ease logistical operations. Nujoma’s remains have arrived in Rundu from Ondangwa’s Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Airport. This marks the third memorial service, following ceremonies in Etunda and Eenhana. The remains will then proceed to Katima Mulilo for the fourth service.
