Our reporter, Nduuvundi David, confirms that the remains of Founding President Sam Nujoma have departed from Eenhana to Ondangwa’s Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Airport, where they will be flown to Rundu for the third state memorial service. A massive crowd lined the roads from 06h00, paying their final respects. Meanwhile, the coastal towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay honored Nujoma with motorcade processions today. In Swakopmund, the convoy left the Municipal Parking Lot at 9am, while Walvis Bay’s began at Kuisebmond Stadium at 10, with residents, law enforcement, and company vehicles displaying banners and tribute images.
