FNB Namibia has launched its 2025 annual pricing structure, introducing measures to make banking more affordable and accessible. Effective today, the bank has eliminated all fees on local card swipes—a first in the Namibian market.

According to FNB Group Communication Manager Kirsty Watermeyer, the zero-fee swipe policy is part of a broader strategy to foster financial inclusion and promote digital banking. “Banking should be simple, fair, and aligned with the real lives of Namibians,” she said, highlighting that the changes reflect customer feedback and evolving market needs.

In addition to the swipe fee removal, FNB Namibia is reducing charges for services like Cash@Till, Cash Plus, debit orders, internal transfers, and Pay TV purchases. Philip Chapman from FNB Business Banking added that the revised fee structure is designed to benefit individuals and businesses by cutting costs and supporting growth.

This initiative aligns with the bank’s long-term commitment to financial empowerment and digital adoption. FNB Namibia, part of the First Rand Group, is Namibia’s largest commercial bank, known for a strong focus on customer-centric innovation and inclusive banking services
