Eight Suspects Remanded for Assaulting Woman Accused of Poisoning Cuca Shop Patrons

Eight suspects from Iikango C village in Oshigambo, have been detained in Ondangwa for allegedly assaulting a 67-year-old woman. They are accused of beating her with fresh branch sticks and burning her belongings, including her shebeen, over suspicions that she poisoned customers at her cuca shop. The suspects appeared in court before Magistrate Nelao Ya France at Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court. The case has been postponed to 21 November for further police investigations.
