Namport And UNAM Partner for Walvis Bay Lagoon Study

Namport and the University of Namibia have entered into a three-year agreement to assess the ecosystem health and biodiversity of the Walvis Bay Lagoon. Signed on Tuesday, the N$3.7 million partnership aims to provide valuable insights into the lagoon’s environmental status. US-Venezuela prisoner swaps sees Americans freed

Venezuela has released ten detained Americans in a move aimed at easing sanctions on the country, as announced by the government in Caracas. The release was part of a negotiated prisoner exchange facilitated by Qatar. In exchange, the United States freed an individual accused of money laundering, reportedly having close ties to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
