S.A. Parliament Allocates R6 Million Budget for SONA

S.A's Parliament secretary Xolile George has confirmed a six-million-rand budget for the State of the Nation Address. Dignitaries, members of parliament, and former presidents will attend the event. George says the allocation is due to increased logistical costs of hosting the event at Cape Town City Hall following the 2022 fire. He confirmed that the reconstruction of Parliament is still ongoing:

French President due to address the nation later today on no-confidence vote

  French President Emmanuel Macron is due to address the nation later today after the country's government lost a no-confidence vote. Prime Minister Michel Barnier was ousted as far-right and left-wing legislators joined forces to support the motion against him.
