Namibia, Botswana, and South Africa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the ‘Development and Management of the Trans Kalahari Corridor’. The MoU aims to improve trade relations and facilitate the movement of goods and people along the corridor and the broader region. To implement this, law enforcement agents from the member states are establishing checkpoints along the Trans Kalahari Corridor for trade facilitation.
