Italy and Germany strengthen energy ties with gas pipeline pledge

Italy and Germany have pledged to work together more closely on energy, including constructing a gas pipeline between the two countries. That’s after Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni travelled to Berlin for talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Wednesday.
