Over 90 traffic summons issued during festive period in Oshikoto region alone

A total of 93 traffic summons were issued to drivers for violating traffic rules and regulations during the ongoing festive season operation period in the Oshikoto Region. According to the crime update issued on Monday by Oshikoto Namibian Police Force’s Deputy Commissioner Wynand Neels, the police have recorded a number of crimes of concern during the season operation period from 17 to 27 November. He further reported that the vehicle movement on the national roads is moderate, but the wet and rainy season has an impact on the drivers, especially on the gravel road.
