Henry Kissinger, the former secretary of state who defined US foreign policy in the 1970s, has died aged 100. Simon Marks reports. Kissinger served as America’s top diplomat and national security adviser during the Nixon and Ford administrations. Kissinger was a joint recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize – along with the leader of North Vietnam – in 1973.
