Otjozondjupa launches festive season road safety campaign

The road safety campaign for the Otjozondjupa Region was officially launched at the B1 police roadblock outside Otjiwarongo on Wednesday. Otjozondjupa Governor, James Uerikua urged road users passing through the Okahandja-Otjiwarongo as well as the Otjiwarongo-Otavi portions of the national road to adhere to the road traffic rules and regulations during the festive season. The Namibia Press Agency reports that due to anticipated high traffic volumes during the festive season, the operation is expected to run from 17 November 2023 to 16 January 2024.
