Oshikoto region holds Health Day

Councillor Vilho Nuunyango from Oniipa constituency in the Oshikoto region has encouraged the inhabitants of the region to take part in health activities, such as screenings to prevent diseases and falling ill. Nuunyango was speaking at a health day organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Services in the region, as part of the commemoration of World AIDS Day. He adds that primary prevention care concentrates on promoting health, preventing illnesses, early diagnosis, and early treatment of diseases.
