Ukraine accuses Russia of war crime

Kyiv has accused Russia of committing a war crime by executing Ukrainian soldiers who had signalled their intention to surrender. This, the AFP news agency reports, follows the publication of a short video posted on Telegram showing two men coming out of a shelter, one with his hands above his head, before lying on the ground in front of another group of soldiers. This is followed by what appears to be gunfire and the appearance of smoke before the video cuts off abruptly. Neither their location nor the authenticity of the video has been confirmed though.
