Brazil donates millions to Namibian food security

The government of Brazil has donated an additional US.dollars 120 000 to Namibia’s food security project through the World Food Programme. This is aside from an earlier donation of N$2.28 million made in August. Brazil’s Secretary for Africa and the Middle East, Carlos Sérgio Sobral Duarte, during the opening of the second diplomatic consultations between Namibia and Brazil on Monday, said Brazil is supporting projects aimed at enhancing the food and nutrition security and vulnerable communities in Namibia. He added that Brazil is also working with Namibia to improve the school feeding program.
