Fuel price relief for Namibians

Just in time for the holidays, the Ministry of Mines and Energy has announced that due to large over-recoveries the price of petrol and both grades of diesel will decrease by 130c/litre as of Wednesday 6 December. The decrease could have been larger but, saying that they note the importance of road maintenance, the Ministry at the same time increased the Road Fund Administration levy by 20 cents to 198 c/litre on all fuel products.
