Man arrested over contraband whisky at Onankali

A 43-year-old man was arrested on Thursday after being found in possession of 259 packs of contraband whisky at Onankali village in the Oshikoto Region. According to a crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force on Friday, the suspect was allegedly found in possession of illicit goods by police on patrol at around 10PM. The 259 pack of best whiskies, each contained 5180 sachets with a value of N$ 25 000 and the suspect is from Engela village in Ohangwena Region and he has been arrested.
