The EFF says the looming retrenchment of six-thousand Post Office workers is devastating

The EFF says it condemns the approval of the South African Post Office business rescue plan, which will see six-thousand workers retrenched and the closure of 420 branches nationwide. The plan is contingent on a 3.8-billion-rand bailout from the government. The EFF says this devastating decision and what can only be described as a jobs bloodbath, is borne from years of ANC mismanagement and neglect of state-owned enterprises. It adds this will only serve to deepen the country’s unemployment crisis.
