South Africa’s members of Parliament have criticised the business rescue process of the Post Office.  The process involves the retrenchment of thousands of workers and the closure of hundreds of branches countrywide. Members of the Communications and Digital Technologies committee received a briefing on the business rescue, with minister Mondli Gungubele confirming the plan will result in job losses.
