City of Windhoek talks ‘category C’ water scarcity

Last month, the City of Windhoek cautioned its residents about facing a ‘category C’ water scarcity situation. In response, residents were advised to reduce their water usage by 10% from their regular consumption. However, reports indicate that residents have surpassed the city’s recommended water consumption target by 23%. Abraham Nehemia, CEO of NamWater, revealed these statistics regarding water usage.
