The German government, through its development and cooperation agency, GIZ, has provided equipment valued at N$3.5 million to the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade. This support aims to bolster small business activities within the country. The contribution encompasses eight vehicles and various industrial machinery, such as an industrial rotary cutter and 3D printers. Additionally, the donation includes laptops, printers, office chairs, laser printers, and color printers. Minister of Industrialisation and Trade, Lucia Iipumbu, who received the donation, highlighted its significance for the StartUp Namibia Project, emphasizing that it will enhance the capabilities of Namibia’s startup ecosystem.
