Putin admits Moscow, Washington in talks on Americans jailed in Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin held the end of year press conference on Thursday, taking selected questions form the public and journalists. Putin confirmed Moscow and Washington are in talks over the fate of the 2 American citizens held in Russian jails. He also addressed questions on the ongoing war in Ukraine and the state of the Russian economy, hit by Western sanctions. The event comes as Putin announced he would run for the 5th term in March next year.
