The Border Management Authority of South Africa is gearing up to enhance its activities and streamline movement during the festive season, commencing with the initial phase of deployment at the Lebombo border in Mpumalanga on Saturday. Commissioner Mike Masiapato has articulated that this visit serves the purpose of showcasing the authority’s readiness to oversee and support the lawful transit of individuals and commodities across entry points and law enforcement areas along the border. Masiapato further stated that they are orchestrating operations at the ports in cooperation with various law enforcement agencies.
