Guinas councillor hosts Christmas party for marginalised pensioners

Guinas constituency councillor Marthinu Kainda recently organized a heartwarming Christmas celebration for 148 pensioners from marginalized communities at Tsintsabis settlement. Expressing his sentiments during the event, Kainda shared that having the opportunity to socialize and engage with the elderly felt like a significant blessing, particularly as he has lost his parents and grandparents. He emphasized the importance of acknowledging and appreciating the invaluable roles these individuals play in the community. He also took the opportunity to encourage the youth in his constituency to uphold positive behavior and steer clear of involvement in criminal activities.
