US engages in ‘serious negotiations’ for Gaza truce

The US says ‘serious negotiations’ are underway over the possibility of a new truce in Gaza and the further release of Israeli hostages by Hamas. Riham Jafari from the charity ActionAid Palestine believes the international community should be doing more to secure a new ceasefire.
