Onawa and Omashaka to get police sub-stations

Background

The Oshakati and Ondangwa Town Councils have allocated land for the establishment of sub-stations at Onawa reception in Oshakati and Omashaka location in Ondangwa. This initiative aims to enhance crime prevention measures in both areas following numerous reports of criminal activities reported to the Namibian Police Force. NamPol Inspector-General, Joseph Shikongo, reiterated the force’s dedication to delivering top-notch services and assured the community of their readiness to provide assistance. Additionally, Multilevel Property Development generously donated N$3 million for the construction of the necessary infrastructure, and construction is anticipated to commence promptly.
