Authorities arrested two women on allegations of stealing an iPhone 14 Pro Max and deceiving a 34-year-old man in Windhoek’s Shandumbala last Friday. Reportedly, the suspects requested to borrow the victim’s phone but declined to return it. Furthermore, they proceeded to make unauthorized withdrawals totaling N$2,000 from the victim’s bank account. According to the police, the victim was defrauded of a total sum of N$32,000. Investigations by the police are currently underway.
