Leaders in the Moses /Garoëb Constituency have expressed their appreciation to the Khomas Regional Council for providing them with food parcels, which they believe will alleviate hunger in their households. On Wednesday, fifty beneficiaries from the Havana informal settlement received these essential items from the constituency councillor, Stefanus Ndengu. The distributed food items comprised maize meal, rice, pasta, canned fish, cooking oil, and condiments. Tuwilika Ileka, a resident living with six dependents relying on her monthly old-age grant, expressed gratitude, stating that she’s thankful to the leaders for providing them with this food as it will have a positive impact on our lives.
