In the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary Level national examinations for 2023, both public and private schools in the north-central and north-eastern regions have asserted their dominance in the national rankings.As announced by Anna Nghipondoka, the Minister of Education, Arts and Culture, seven public schools hailing from Kavango East, Oshikoto, Omusati, and Ohangwena have secured positions within the top 10 best-performing NSSCO level schools. At the forefront is Rukonga Vision School in Kavango East, leading the rankings, followed by Rev. Juuso Shikongo Secondary School in the Oshikoto region, and Onawa Secondary School and Ndama Secondary School in the Omusati and Kavango East regions, respectively.
