A Tragic Incident: 17-Year-Old Allegedly Commits Suicide in Oshikoto Region

Background

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 17-year-old boy named Shatiwa Tuhafeni Nghifilenga reportedly took his own life at Onanke village in the Oshikoto Region. The Namibian Police Force disclosed the incident in a recent crime report, revealing the devastating circumstances surrounding the young boy’s death. According to the police report, the tragic incident occurred on Thursday at around 3am Nghifilenga was discovered hanging from the roof of his bedroom, a rope around his neck. His uncle made the grim discovery after returning from local cuca shops.
