Low Success Rate: Only 30% of ||Kharas Region Learners Achieve C+ or Higher in NSSCO Exams

Background

Only 30 percent of learners who took their Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary exams in the ||Kharas Region achieved a grading of three C+ or higher, enabling them to progress to the Advanced Subsidiary level. Out of the 1166 candidates who participated in the NSSCO examination, merely 350 met the criteria for AS level admission. Should they choose to pursue it, 134 candidates went on to write the AS examinations. These statistics were disclosed by Jesmine Magerman, the Acting Director of Education, Arts, and Culture in the ||Kharas Region, in response to inquiries.
