The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture has given the green light for the construction of an extra primary school in Groot Aub, Khomas Region. The Director of Education, Paulus Nghikembua revealed that the anticipated completion date for the new school is 2030. Groot Aub, situated approximately 60 kilometers south of Windhoek, has experienced significant growth, with its current population exceeding 24,000 residents. The settlement currently accommodates its expanding community with one primary school and one secondary school, leading to classroom overcrowding.
