Theft of Drought Relief Food Sparks Concerns in Ohangwena Region

In a concerning turn of events, food items designated for the national drought relief program were reported stolen from the Oshikango warehouse in the Ohangwena Region. The Office of the Prime Minister addressed the incident in a press release on Wednesday, confirming that a case has been filed with the Namibian Police, and the alleged culprits have been apprehended. The OPM emphasized the importance of public cooperation, urging citizens to avoid purchasing any items suspected to be part of the stolen relief supplies. Instead, the public is encouraged to promptly report any suspicious sales of drought relief food items to the Namibian Police.
