Energy Minister Tom Alweendo swiftly denied corruption allegations related to oil and gas licensing off Namibia’s coast. The accusations surfaced in a letter attributed to Louis Beauvais, representing TotalEnergies shareholders, addressed to TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanne. The ministry’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Eshioshange Ten Hasheela, issued an official denial, raising concerns about transparency in Namibia’s oil and gas licensing process.
