Gauteng Police Arrest 57-Year-Old Man for Interfering with Foreign VIP Motorcade

Gauteng police have apprehended a 57-year-old man on charges of allegedly disrupting a motorcade transporting a foreign VIP dignitary to Lanseria International Airport. Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe reported that the man had been cautioned by traffic officials and police escorting the VIP convoy to steer clear, but he purportedly disregarded the warnings. Despite multiple warnings, the individual attempted to enter the motorcade, leading to his arrest after police intercepted him on his third attempt.
