Namibia’s export earnings declined in December

Namibia’s export earnings declined by 1.9% to N$11.5 billion in December 2023 from N$11.8 billion in November 2023, while the import bill dropped by 25% to N$15.8 billion. Despite this, exports remained on an upward trend, reaching N$105.0 billion in 2023, exceeding the N$100 billion mark set in 2022 when it registered N$97.4 billion in exports.  Here is the Namibia Statistics Agency spokesperson, Mirjam Shihepo.
