In their latest press release, the Mines and Energy ministry announced that fuel prices for February 2024 will remain unchanged: N$20.78 for petrol, N$21.05 for diesel 50ppm, and N$21.25 for diesel 10ppm in Walvis Bay. Fuel pump prices will be adjusted based on new transport rates. Additionally, the ministry extends the temporary relief margin of 20 cents per litre to oil wholesalers for another three months, ensuring a secure supply of petroleum products. Petroleum Economist Salome Nghoshi provides further details.
