The Namibian Police Force in the Omusati region has initiated a murder case against a 36-year-old mentally challenged man who allegedly beat his 104-year-old mother to death with a stick. The tragic incident occurred on Friday in Enkombo village, Etayi constituency. Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, the region’s Crime Investigation Coordinator, confirmed the details. The victim, identified as Cecilia Vilho, has prompted the authorities to open a case of murder, coupled with the provision of domestic violence, against the suspect.
