South African Health Department Dispels Misleading Claims on Covid-19 Vaccine-Related Deaths

The South African Department of Health has refuted a circulating voice note on social media falsely asserting that individuals vaccinated against Covid-19 are succumbing to the vaccine. The misleading voice note advocates for the use of an unregistered over-the-counter product called Nature’s Choice Activated Charcoal as a supposed remedy to prevent these alleged deaths. Foster Mohale, the department’s spokesperson, has clarified that there are no reported deaths causally linked to Covid-19 vaccines, with the exception of the three cases reported by the department last year.
