Biden Administration cancels $1.2 billion in student loans

Background

About 150 thousand student loans will be cancelled by the Biden Administration. President Joseph Biden last year pledged to find alternative ways to tackle student debt relief after the Supreme Court blocked his broader plan to write off some $400 billion in student loans. Jody Jacobs reports.
