Rehoboth experiences a localized surge in COVID-19 cases, with a majority involving learners from Dr Lemmer High School, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Services Executive Director, Ben Nangombe. Between January 25 and February 16, 39 positive cases were recorded in Rehoboth. Nangombe identifies these cases as part of a localized outbreak, assuring that there have been no severe illnesses or hospitalizations. All positive cases are being managed according to established guidelines, prioritizing public health.
