Route for Presidential procession announced

At a media briefing on Thursday 22 February it was announced that the Presidential procession will start at State House at 12h00 on Friday, 23 February 2024.

From State House, the procession will proceed via Laurent Desire Kabila Street – Robert Mugabe Avenue- Jan Jonker Street -Rehobother Rd – David Hosea Meroro Road – Hendrick Witbooi Drive – Moses //Garoeb Street – Winnie Madikizela Mandela Road – Independence Avenue – Sam Nujoma Drive and lastly to Casa Rosalia. From Casa Rosalia, the body will lie in state at Parliament Gardens on 23 February 2024 to allow the general public to pay their last respect to the late President Dr. Hage G. Geingob.
