Crocodile Attack Claims Life of 14-Year-Old in Kavango East Region

The Namibian Police Force in the Kavango East Region has reported yet another heartbreaking incident of a crocodile attack, resulting in the loss of a young life. Deputy Commissioner Eino Nambahu, acting as the regional commander, disclosed that 14-year-old Edward Mwambu Katjire fell victim to a crocodile on Sunday. The incident occurred at Shadjunu village along the Kavango River, where Katjire, accompanied by a friend, went for fishing and bathing. Tragically, while in the water, the crocodile attacked and fatally injured him. The community mourns the loss, and authorities are addressing the situation.
