Minister of Higher Education, Training, and Innovation, Itah Kandjii-Murangi, highlighted the pivotal role of developing professional and technical human resources, along with investing in research, science, technology, and innovation infrastructure, as essential elements for the transformation of Namibia’s economy. Speaking at a high-level tertiary education funding budget review dinner in the capital, Kandjii-Murangi underscored the significance of focusing on Namibia’s youth, constituting 60% of the population, emphasizing the need for specialized attention in engaging and imparting necessary skills to the younger generation.
