SA Education activist Hendrick Makaneta is calling on Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola to take decisive action against Afghanistan at the International Court of Justice. Makaneta asserts that South Africa should champion the cause of inclusive education in Afghanistan, particularly in response to the recent ban on girls attending classes. He intends to request Minister Lamola to initiate an investigation and pursue legal measures against Afghan authorities to address the concerning restriction on girls’ access to education.
