Pastor Arrested in Omusati Region for Alleged Rape of 15-Year-Old Girl

Namibian Police Force in the Omusati Region has apprehended a pastor wanted for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in Okando village, Oshikuku Constituency, between June 2020 and September 2022. Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, NamPol Omusati Crime Investigations Coordinator, confirmed the arrest, stating that the suspect is scheduled to appear in the Outapi Magistrate’s Court. The incident was reported last week Thursday by an 18-year-old woman residing with the victim. The police investigation into the matter is ongoing.
